Welcome! Energize or Create a Project!
If you are thinking of starting a project (perhaps event- or business related) or working on a project with others, then you've come to the right place! This site has opportunities for you to become involved with starting an online business, restructuring a business that's seeking a new path, getting a book publicized, organizing and/or performing community service, conducting market research, managing global events, etc.
Here's how this site works:
1. Someone identifies a short-term project.
2. You browse the open projects and find a niche for yourself and sign up for one project.
3. As soon as the team is formed, the project begins.
4. At the end of three months, finished or not, the project is over.
Three months gives you time to successfully accomplish one phase of something. It's a quick way to breathe life into an idea and to assess its viability. Plus, it gives you a tangible success to claim!
The benefits?
The project creator/producer gets a team to work with on an idea that might otherwise not move forward.
Team members have a fresh project to list on their resumes, new and current skills, new contacts and a sense of pride and accomplishment.
Plus, if you want to 'try out' a skill, join a team and claim a spot where you can explore your capability in a new area.
Projects may be volunteer or for pay. That information will be stated in the project description. The original intent of this site was to provide opportunities for volunteer projects. There may be occasional 'for pay' projects listed.
Go to the "Projects" tab drop-down menu and find something you'd like to do. Start with "Virtual Projects" or "Hands-On Projects" to see what's available.
